President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be visiting Adamawa State on Monday, February 16, 2026, to inaugurate several vital projects developed under Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri. These projects represent advancements in education, infrastructure, justice, governance, security, healthcare, and human capital development.
The itinerary includes the commissioning of a newly constructed underpass at the former Bekaji Roundabout and the upgraded Bank Road in Yola. Also slated for inauguration is a Model School in Yola North, one of 21 such schools built across the state. A groundbreaking ceremony for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) permanent Orientation Camp in Malkohi is also planned.
Further projects to be unveiled include an ultra-modern High Court Complex, the automated gate at Government House, Yola, and the newly constructed Governor’s Office Complex. The Fintiri administration has described these initiatives as a focused effort to bolster public institutions and enhance service delivery throughout Adamawa State.
The President's presence is seen as a significant endorsement of these developments and is anticipated to draw considerable attention from political figures and the public within the state.
