Real Madrid has been drawn to face Manchester City in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League (UCL).
The draw, conducted in Nyon on Friday by Ivan Rakitic, a Barcelona great, sets the stage for another exciting battle between two of football's powerhouses.
These teams met earlier in the group stage this season, where Manchester City triumphed in Spain. However, in their last two knockout encounters, Real Madrid has emerged victorious against Pep Guardiola's side.
In another notable matchup, defending UCL champions Paris Saint-Germain will seek revenge against Chelsea, who previously defeated them 3-0 in the Club World Cup final.
Victor Osimhen's wish has come to fruition, as his team Galatasaray will play Liverpool. The 25-year-old expressed his eagerness to visit Anfield and help the Turkish champions achieve their ambitious UCL objectives.
Newcastle United will face Barcelona once again this season for a spot in the quarter-finals, while Ademola Lookman’s Atletico Madrid will go up against struggling Tottenham Hotspur.
The initial leg of the matches is set for March 10-11, with the return fixtures planned for March 17-18.
