Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka recently attended a gathering of the Pyrates Confraternity, marking the life of the late academic and former ASUU President, Professor Biodun Jeyifo, who passed away at age 80 and was laid to rest at the St James the Great Cathedral cemetery in Ibadan.

In a notable address, Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has invited Arise News anchors, Rufai Oseni and Dr. Reuben Abati, to tour the state in response to their criticisms of his administration. He pledged to showcase various ongoing development projects during their visit.
