Gajam urged teachers and administrators to actively support the proposed reforms, cautioning that a lack of cooperation could impede the sector's advancement.

"If we mistakenly refuse to support him… it would be hard for Zamfara education to recover," he warned.

The commissioner highlighted the critical need for accountability and the establishment of measurable outcomes within the sector.

"I made it clear that we must move beyond paperwork. What we need now is verifiable data and physical evidence of progress across all 14 local government areas," he emphasized.

Furthermore, the commissioner directed officials to address issues of teacher absenteeism and ensure the effective delivery of services.

"Our officers must serve as the true ‘eyes and ears’ of government, ensuring teacher accountability and guaranteeing that learning materials reach every child," he instructed.

He also mentioned that the state government is actively working on repositioning public schools.

"Our goal is to restore quality, discipline, and excellence across all schools and make them more competitive," he concluded.
