This initiative was undertaken to foster public health and reinforce the collaboration between the police and local communities throughout the state.

During the cleanup effort, which took place in various locations around Uyo, the State Commissioner of Police, Baba Mohammed Azare, expressed that the event exemplifies the command's dedication to community service and their aim to promote a cleaner and more secure environment.

Azare mentioned that the medical outreach would provide the public with access to complimentary medical consultations, basic health screenings, and vital medications.

He urged residents to uphold a clean and healthy environment, highlighting the importance of collective responsibility and cooperation in cultivating safer neighborhoods.

The Commissioner also emphasized that the police force is committed to people- oriented policing and initiatives that foster trust, mutual respect, and collaboration with the community.
