Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has officially appointed Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake to serve as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
The announcement was made on Monday via a statement from the Governor's Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Christian Aburime, indicating that Nnake's role is effective immediately.
Nnake hails from Nawfia in the Njikoka Local Government Area and possesses over 13 years of experience in finance, strategy formulation, and economic planning.
Before her new role, she held the position of Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning in Anambra, where she managed the allocation and mobilization of resources aimed at fostering socio-economic growth within the state.
She is well qualified, holding a Master of Business Administration from Lagos Business School and a First-Class degree in Accounting from Benson Idahosa University.
Nnake is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has completed executive training at the Harvard Kennedy School.
She succeeds Prof. Solo Chukwulobelu, who was removed following Governor Soludo's dissolution of the state Executive Council.
At 39, Nnake is a mother of three, balancing her professional commitments with family life.
