Comedian Cedric The Entertainer has publicly taken Donald Trump to task over the President's response to a joke made by Trevor Noah during the Grammy Awards, alleging that Trump shows an inability to handle criticism that he frequently hurls at others.

Cedric's comments came in light of Trump's objections to a reference concerning Epstein Island made during the awards ceremony, an incident that has ignited considerable discussion online.

While speaking to TMZ reporters at the Los Angeles International Airport, Cedric pointed out that Trump's reaction is part of a recurring theme, especially when contrasted with his previous confrontations with late-night television hosts.

He highlighted Trump's ongoing dispute with Jimmy Kimmel, indicating that while Trump regularly disparages others, he reacts vehemently when the tables are turned.

According to Cedric, Trump “has no issue labelling people as ugly or hurling insults indiscriminately,” but his demeanor shifts vastly when he finds himself in the crosshairs of similar critiques. He remarked that when someone returns that energy, Trump tends to unleash his “power and influence” upon them.

Cedric further condemned Trump's propensity to threaten legal action, asserting that leveraging wealth and litigation to stifle dissenters constitutes intimidation. He characterized this behavior as “outright bullying,” emphasizing that it contradicts the strong front that Trump often projects.

He argued that if Trump were to engage with his critics on an equal footing, responding in kind would be justifiable. “If Trump were operating on a level playing field, then sure, respond all you want,” he noted.

Nonetheless, he deemed Trump’s reactions hypocritical due to the prevailing power disparity, stating, “In the current context, he’s simply a total hypocrite.”
