The foundation's updated formulation, a result of extensive scientific research involving 100 scientists and testing on over 3,000 participants, now offers 70 shades. This expansion ensures a more inclusive range, catering to the diverse spectrum of skin tones. The foundation maintains its signature 36-hour wear and full coverage while introducing enhanced versatility, allowing users to achieve either a matte or a luminous dewy finish with appropriate skin preparation.

A highlight of the evening was a captivating masterclass led by Christerbella Mashigo, Education Executive for Sub-Saharan Africa at Estée Lauder Companies. Through live demonstrations and insightful commentary, Mashigo showcased the foundation's dual-finish capability, captivating the audience. Many attendees, some of whom have been loyal Double Wear users for years, found the session both a reunion and an enlightening experience.

The event provided an immersive brand experience. The Essenza Nigeria team assisted guests with personalized shade matching and product trials at dedicated makeup stations. An interactive iPad shade finder also offered a modern way to discover the perfect match. The atmosphere was enhanced by a playful claw machine for gifts, live art illustrations, and ample vanity mirrors, creating an environment that was both sophisticated and engaging.

Guests enjoyed canapés, cocktails, and a dessert selection, contributing to the lively ambiance. Products were available for purchase on-site, with Essenza Nigeria offering a 20% discount. Each attendee received a special gift designed to align with the 'made for more' theme.

The collective sense of joy and connection throughout the evening clearly communicated the success of the launch. Lagos embraced the new Double Wear, and in turn, Estée Lauder celebrated the city.
