Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, attended the 2026 Next Level Prayers (NLP) Conference in Lagos, a notable Christian event emphasizing spiritual renewal, prayer, and empowerment within the community.
The gathering, arranged by Harvesters International Christian Centre and spearheaded by its senior pastor, Bolaji Idowu, saw a considerable turnout of believers, religious figures, and traditional leaders at Tafawa Balewa Square, where they came together for worship, teachings, and prayer activities.
Various dignitaries were present alongside the multitude of worshippers. The organizers mentioned that the event highlighted the influence of prayer and faith throughout Lagos State and Nigeria.
While welcoming the governor, Pastor Idowu expressed gratitude for his attendance and leadership.
"Your Excellency, Mr. Governor, thank you very much. We sincerely recognize and appreciate your commitment to fostering growth, development, and the welfare of the populace you govern," Idowu stated. "We are thankful that you chose to join us tonight at Next Level."
He went on to mention that the congregation was offering prayers for the governor and his administration, stating, "We view it as a privilege to have your presence, and we pray that God continues to bless you with good health, fortitude, and realization of your objectives for the people."
The Next Level Prayers Conference aims to inspire believers to enhance their spiritual lives while pursuing their purposes and strengthening community bonds. The 2026 session included prayer meetings, worship experiences, educational sessions, and testimonies from attendees who shared accounts of personal change.
