In a recent operation, authorities from the Delta State Police Command captured seven individuals suspected of engaging in drug trafficking activities within the state.

Police bust drug syndicate, arresting suspects

The arrests were made in the Ugborikoko area, where law enforcement conducted a raid targeting local drug syndicates. Among those apprehended was a female suspect, along with Daniel Ojukwu, Rose Otofi, Osaro Okosu, Maro Ibecham, Fregene Victory, and Kevwe Irimoni.

According to the police spokesperson, Bright Edafe, one of the suspects was taken into custody first during the raid. He noted that information from this individual led officers to identify and arrest six additional suspects, who are thought to be significant contributors to the local drug distribution network.
