Renowned actor Patrick Doyle is experiencing profound grief following the death of his baby daughter, Omayinuwa, who passed away less than 24 hours after her birth. Doyle had initially shared the happy news of his first child with his wife, Olufunmilayo, on Saturday, April 11.
However, a subsequent announcement on Sunday, April 12, revealed the tragic loss. In an emotional social media post, Patrick shared that their daughter, Omayinuwa, arrived on Friday, April 10, at around 10:40 am and returned to heaven on Saturday, April 11, at approximately 4:15 pm.
He reflected that despite her brief time with them, her birth brought immense happiness to their lives. "We would have wished for a longer stay, but alas, heaven thought otherwise," Doyle wrote. He affirmed his unwavering faith in God's plan, stating, "Our faith in the goodness of God remains resolute regardless. Sibe' sibe' Oluwa n'be' It is well with our soul.”
