A disturbing incident has emerged from the Etoa Meki neighbourhood in Yaoundé, Cameroon, where a construction worker is alleged to have sexually assaulted a three-year-old girl. The suspect, identified as a national of Chad, was reportedly employed at a nearby construction site.

Reports indicate that the man is accused of luring the young child away from a safe location and taking her to an unfinished building, where the alleged crime took place. The community's attention was drawn to the situation when several residents heard the distressed cries of the victim.

Following the discovery, the alleged perpetrator was apprehended by members of the community. He was reportedly subjected to a severe beating by angry residents before any official intervention.
