A tragic incident has emerged from Zawiya city, Libya, where a Nigerian woman named Alfred Ella is reportedly the victim of a homicide allegedly committed by her boyfriend, also a Nigerian national.
The discovery of Ella's body was confirmed by The Libya Observer on Sunday, April 12, 2026.
According to reports, her remains were found concealed inside a septic tank that was still under construction.
Details surrounding the circumstances of her death remain unclear. Initial investigations, however, point towards her boyfriend as the perpetrator, suggesting a crime of passion or domestic violence that escalated fatally.
