Representatives of the Katsina State Hisbah Commission from the Sabuwa Division have conducted hair shaving activities for numerous young men within the town.
In a declaration made on Saturday, March 21, 2026, the Islamic police revealed that these haircuts occurred in various locations across the town during the recently concluded Sallah festivities.
The initiative was spearheaded by the Hisbah commander of Sabuwa, DC Malam Idris Hayatu.
"The Hisbah Commission of Katsina State, Sabuwa Division, has initiated a significant program dubbed Operation Happy Sallah today, Saturday, March 21, 2026, to uphold peace and cleanliness during the Eid celebration," the statement detailed.
“The operation spanned different parts of Sabuwa town, where officers aimed to prohibit unruly behavior, inappropriate acts, and noisy musical activities that could disturb public peace.
"While addressing the community, the commander highlighted the commission's dedication to maintaining law and order, as well as safeguarding the dignity of the populace, especially during this critical period.
“He also urged community members, particularly the youth, to cultivate good conduct and to steer clear of actions that might foster discord."
