Described as a devoted mother, loving wife, caring sister, cherished aunty, and dear friend, Abioye's life was marked by a valiant fight against breast cancer. Kuti remembered her as a vibrant and compassionate individual whose presence left a significant impact on those who knew her.

"She was truly one of a kind, kind, generous, and full of life, with a radiant and bubbly spirit that lit up every room she entered," Oluomo wrote, further noting her deep capacity for love, her free laughter, and her talent for uniting people, whether through her love for dancing or her warm hospitality.

Kuti also highlighted her strong faith, stating that she remained resilient and hopeful throughout her illness. "Her life was a powerful testimony of resilience, strength, and hope," he added.

In response to this tragedy, members of the Nigerian community in the UK have commenced efforts to raise funds. The initiative aims to provide financial assistance for Abioye's children and to facilitate a dignified funeral service. Kuti urged Nigerians, both within the UK and in the diaspora, to rally around the bereaved family during this difficult time.

He further appealed for contributions to the fundraising campaign, emphasizing that "no amount is too small" and that any support offered would significantly honor her memory and alleviate the burden on her grieving loved ones. The community seeks prayers and kindness from the public, with the hope that her soul finds perfect peace.
