A toddler aged two has earned recognition as the holder of two Guinness World Records after becoming the youngest person to execute a duo of trick shots in snooker.
Jude Owens, residing in Manchester, United Kingdom, accomplished a pool bank shot at the age of two years and 302 days on October 12 of the previous year.
This accomplishment followed his earlier performance of a snooker double pot just five weeks prior, at two years and 261 days old.
With these accomplishments, Jude is officially the youngest individual ever to execute both trick shots, establishing himself as one of the youngest holders of double records in Guinness World Records history.
Jude's father, Luke Owens, first observed his son's innate talent while playing at home, where snooker quickly turned into the toddler's favored pastime.
He remarked, "I realized when he held the cue that it felt completely natural the way he handled it."
Owens mentioned that they initially used bar stools to help Jude reach the table due to his height, but they now utilize a stool they had previously used while cooking.
He expressed, "Jude has accomplished a lot in such a brief period. Achieving not just one but two world records is likely the highlight. How do you surpass that in life?"
The record authority stated that Jude was granted a special walk-out entrance during the 2025 UK Championship, making him the youngest known individual to attain sponsorship in the sport.
Owens noted, "I started playing at ten, and Jude began at two. However, I believe Jude possesses considerably more natural talent than I do."
When queried about who would emerge victorious in a snooker match between him and his father, Jude responded confidently, "Me."
Jude's family reported that he is a devoted supporter of Manchester United and has a particular admiration for Bruno Fernandes.
Craig Glenday, the editor-in-chief of Guinness World Records, commented, "Record-breaking knows no age limits. Seeing a child like Jude display such skill, enthusiasm, and determination is tremendously special. We are delighted to welcome him into the Guinness World Records family."
